No accounts, no cookies banner

There is no login or account system anywhere on this site. Analytics (Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights) don’t use cookies, so there’s no cookie consent banner.

What stays on your device

Saved recipes and checked-off ingredients are stored in your browser’s local storage only — never sent to Herbiix or anyone else. Clearing your browser data removes them.

Contact and enquiry forms

When you submit the contact form, the details you enter (name, email, message, and any audience-specific fields) are sent to Herbiix by email to respond to your enquiry. Submissions are rate limited by IP address to prevent abuse; the IP address is used only for that check and is not stored long-term.

AI Kitchen

Messages you send to the AI Kitchen assistant are sent to Anthropic’s API to generate a response. No message content and no personal data from these conversations is logged by Herbiix.

Newsletter

If you subscribe with your email address, it’s used to send you updates from Herbiix.
